Anyway i had fun at church today. I laughed alot at least. We played Asshole after church which is like (quoting Joel) Taidi with a twist. For example, the first round is to define your positions, the person who finishes first is king, the person who finishes last is the Asshole. So during the second round, the Asshole will exchange two of his/her highest cards with two of the King's lowest cards, and the Soldier will exchange one of his/her highest cards with one of the Queen's lowest.

I can't play Taidi for nuts. So i always always always end up being the Asshole except for a few rare occasions where i become king and its because i got lucky not because of skill lol. So im always grateful when people offer to exchange ranks with me hahaha.

Anyway, my mum bought me an issue of seventeen and in one of the pages it had this section on how to tell if a guy is really BF material. I thought about it because i have nothing better to do. And also cause i have to wait for my mum while she's having her yoga class.

And i decided this is the absolutely most important thing to me in a relationship: He must be able to make me laugh. If you choose your partner for their looks, their status, even the rest of their personality, you could regret it eventually. Anyway (I love using this word hehe) lots of those things can get lost along the way. Even personality traits can change: a confident person can be shattered by emotional trauma, a patient person can become irritable and frustrated through illness or pain yada yada.

But a sense of humour will last you long after everything else has gone. When you're both sitting there in your rocking chairs, decades after retirement, and the kids have long since grown up, it may be all you have left. And if it is, it'll be enough ^^

Laughter is worth its weight in gold. A sense of humour is a very personal thing and some people just make us laugh more than others. Eh but you dont want just someone who will makes you laugh generally, although that's important also lah. The best thing of all is to find someone who can make you laugh at yourself and that will get through life more smoothly than anything else.

Anyway in seventeen, the rest of the qualities they listed were: He confides in you, which means he trusts you, He asks you questions about your life,which means he respects the things which are important to you. And i totally agree with this: He disagrees with you. A guy that argues a little isn't afraid to be himself around you so that means he'll never be an annoying lapdog.

It also says to beware of any guy who cant keep his hands to himself or is too quick to say he wants to be with you forever cause its an indicator that all he's really interested in is geting a girlfriend and any girl he finds will do.

That aside, my mum showed me a quote from the life section of an old newspaper:

" Its obvious women are smarter than men. Think about it:

diamonds are a girl's bestfriend; Man's bestfriend is a dog."

If thats the case then why am i always the Asshole (see beginning of post) and the guys I play with (esp KeenHoe) always get to become king ? ):
