camp

helloooo.
havent posted for more than a week.
lol .

ok band camp : 20-22june07

it was quite ok la .
but it was supposed to be training camp,
so renee said it wasnt supposed to be like, too fun .

ok so.
day 1, we separated into groups .
im in group 4 with :
April,Deborah,Amanda,Grace,Shaik & Nic.
Caizhen & Danial joined us later on .
had drills,games and the usual sectionals and stuff .

um, Day 2 was more fun .
we had soggy cornflakes for breakfast .
it was like eating cardboard leiiii .
Mos didnt want his, so he asked me and
april to help him eat .
his was in chocolate milk, so it
was muchhh tastier .
he went home later in the day, cuz he got
family prob and went to langkawi or smth .

ok thn, we had senior and junior drills .
at first we (seniors) did drills under the hottttt sun .
and pumping also ! the ground was bloody hot,
we have have to stay on the ground for sooo friggin long .

but thank god hansley moved us in to the shade .
so nice of him .
ok here comes the exciting part .
(for me la, haahahaha)

so we had kind of a drilling competition
with the juniors .
but i dunno how it started actually .
so we were like marching and seeing
who can shout the timing louder.
superrrr lame la , but quite fun . lol .

we did henta kaki first ,
the correct timing is : left, left, left, right,left .
then coz firdaus was sooo bored, so he made us march to
twinkle(x2) little star, baaabaa black sheep & ABC .
omgggggg, so funny !
it was like last year's camp when fairul took us lol .

the juniors also did hentakaki,
but hansley say, they march soooooo fast
it looks like they're jogging on the spot .
omg sooooo bad ! haha .
then he said,if they take part in NDP,
the whole parade will end 1 hour
earlier cze they march so fast .
hahahaahahaha .
they firdaus imitated their marching..
SOOOO FUNNY !

then we also wanted to march to this
song, but i cant rmb the tittle... :

" there was a boy who had a dog and
bingo was his name oh B-I-N-G-O (and so on) "

then we changed it to
" there was a band who had a girl
and bimbo was her name oh, B-I-M-B-O (and so on) "

then hansley suggested,

"there was a band who had a girl
and wardah was her name oh, W-A-R-D-A-H (and so on) "

lol,cze apparently to him,
all trumpeters and clarinetists are bimbos -.=

then aft6er drills,
we had sectionals .
we played main band for a while,
but our liberty bell sucked, so hansley and zarifah
suggested to go back to sectionals .

at night, we played general salute
like soooooo daaaarrrrrnnnn sssssllloooowwww .
omgggg ! we repeated every 2 bars 10x extremmlyyy slowwwwwwly
and then the whole song just as sllooowww .
then all the juniors can finally play .
but when we play at the real speed,
all cannot . lol .
i saw my juniors get their fingers
ready at the fingering for F alr .
then when the we start playing at the actual speed,
their fingers all freeze there, so cute . lol .

had mystery game at night .
kind of fun la .
but the egg station was damn gross .
they made us eat week old eggs -.=

lights out at 12mn

day three,
just sectionals, played the
national day pieces agn .
goodness, im soooo sick of the national day pieces alr..
most of thm are not nice to play .
only liberty bell and march festival ..
cant wait for july, then we can play the real pieces (:
